This Decade Belongs To Uttarakhand: PM Modi Inaugurates Projects Worth Rs 17,500 Cr | Key Points

Reiterating that the government is working on the idea of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas', PM said that government will continue doing the welfare of people. 

Ahead of the Uttarakhand assembly election 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Haldwani today. He announced various developmental projects in the state worth over Rs 17,500 crore. 

Reiterating that the government is working on the idea of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas', PM said that government will continue doing the welfare of people. 

PM Modi on his visit to Haldwani on Thursday laid the foundation stone of 23 development projects and is also likely to address people. He will be reaching Haldwani's M.D.P.G College ground at around 2 pm.

The foundation stone was laid for 17 projects which are estimated worth over Rs 14,100 crore. These projects cover sectors ranging from cross irrigation, road, housing, health infrastructure, industry, sanitation to drinking water supply among others.

- PM Modi Announced 23 Development Projects In Uttarakhand

- He announced a Rs 2,000 crore scheme for the development of the overall infrastructure of Haldwani, for water, sewage, road, parking, street lights.

- "Modern infrastructure projects like Char Dham project, new rail routes will make sure this decade belongs to Uttarakhand," said PM Modi.

- PM Modi said that his emotions are proudly associated with the land of Uttarakhand. 

- The Development projects will give better connectivity & better health to the people, PM Modi said.

- PM Modi accused the previous governments of ignoring the development of Uttarakhand. 

- "Lakhwar Project, which started today, was first thought of in 1976. Today after 46 yrs, our govt has laid the foundation stone for its work," said PM Modi.

- PM said that the people in previous governments have 'looted Uttarakhand with both hands'.

- PM said, Women of 13 districts will benefit from the development projects that were inaugurated today.

- "This Decade Belongs To Uttarakhand," said PM Modi.
