SHOCKING video: Girl dies after being pushed from 2nd floor by trainer in Coimbatore college
The victim, N Logeswari was a second year student and was pursuing Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) course at Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science.
Coimbatore: In a shocking incident, an undergraduate 19-year-old student died after being pushed from the second floor of her college building during a disaster management mock drill in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore on Thursday evening.
The victim, N Logeswari was a second year student and was pursuing Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) course at Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science.
The incident took place around 4pm when the students were being demonstrated disaster management techniques. The entire incident was caught on camera where the victim can be seen standing on the second floor of the building and was being asked by trainer, Arumugan to jump, as some students were standing on the ground, holding a net.
As per eye-witnesses, Logeswari refused to jump from the building as she was afraid to get hurt, post which the trainer pushed her down; which made her head hit on the sunshade of the first floor and thereafter didn’t land in the net, but the floor.
As per reports, she was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she was given first aid. Thereafter she was taken to another hospital, where she was declared ‘brought dead’.
They have sent the body for postmortem and have informed the family of the girl. The cops have also taken the trainer into custody.
