Senior advocate HS Phoolka resigns from AAP, to disclose reason on Friday at 4pm

New Delhi: Senior advocate HS Phoola quit the Aam Aadmi party by handing over his resignation to Arvind Kejriwal. Informing about it on Twitter, Phoolka said he was asked not to tender resignation by Kejriwal but still went ahead with his decision of snapping ties with the party. The 1984 anti-Sikh riots victims'counsel said that the reason behind him quitting will be disclosed tomorrow and will also apprise the media about his future plans. Harvinder Singh Phoolka is known to have to fought a long battle to gain justice for the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots. He has been representing victims of the anti-Sikh riots in courts for the last three decades, free of charge. Phoolka has penned his struggle for justice along with senior journalist Manoj Mitta in a book titled, "When A Tree Shook Delhi". He expressed immense happiness recently after Sajjan Kumar was convicted for the killing of five members of a family in Delhi's Raj Nagar-I and the torching of a Sikh temple on November 1, 1984 in Raj Nagar-II.
