• As per the report by Drik Panchang, devotees should eat only one time a day before Shivaratri Vrat • On Shivaratri day, the devotees should take Sankalp after finishing morning rituals to observe full day fast and only take food on the next day • During Sankalp, devotees pledge for self-determination throughout the fasting period • They seek the blessing of Lord Shiva to finish the fast without any interference • Before doing Shiva Puja or visiting the temple on Shivaratri day, devotees should take the second bath in the evening • Shiva Puja should be done during the night, reported Drik Panchang • Devotees should break the fast next day after taking the bath
