A few days ago, Sadhvi Pragya also posted on 'X', in which she wrote, "The Congress's torture was not just limited to the ATS custody, it has caused me deathly pain for my entire life. Swelling in the brain, reduced vision, reduced hearing. Imbalance in speaking, swelling all over the body due to steroids and neuro medications. I am undergoing treatment in a hospital. Warrant Issued Earlier
Earlier, the NIA court had issued a bailable warrant against Sadhvi Pragya for not appearing in the proceedings of the 2008 Malegaon blast case. Court judge AK Lahoti had said that the final arguments in the case are underway. So, Sadhvi Pragya's presence in court is necessary. However, she did not appear in court, due to which a bailable warrant of Rs 10,000 was issued against her. She was given time till November 13 to appear.
Regarding the bailable warrant, the former MP's lawyer JP Mishra told the court that Sadhvi Pragya is not well. Therefore, she should be exempted from the court hearing. The court, however, said that the final arguments in the case are underway, so her presence in court is necessary. A new warrant has been issued against her as she did not appear in court on November 13.
