14 People, Including 3 Children, Killed In 4 Separate Road Accidents In Rajasthan, Police Say
Three children were also killed in an accident between a truck and their car in Rajasthan's Barmer region on Monday evening, according to authorities.
Fourteen people were killed and eight others were injured in four different road accidents in Rajasthan's Barmer, Gangapur City, Alwar, and Pratapgarh districts on Monday, according to police, news agency PTI reported. Three children were also killed in an accident between a truck and their car in Rajasthan's Barmer region on Monday evening, according to authorities. According to Dhorimanna Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhram Vishnoi, those killed in the head-on collision were Dhanraj (45), Swaranjali (five), Prashant (five), Bhagya Lakshmi (one), and Gayatri (26).
The car's passengers, inhabitants of Bhalgaon in Maharashtra, were on their way to Jaisalmer, according to the SHO, who added that another member of the family was wounded.
He stated that the deceased were kept in the mortuary of the government hospital in Dhorimanna for autopsies, and that the injured were referred to Sanchore for treatment.
On Monday, an accident between a roads bus and a car at Piplai Petrol Pump in the Bamanwas police station area of Gangapur City district killed four adolescents and wounded two others.
Harimohan Gurjar (20), Vikram Gurjar (20), Muniraj Gurjar (22), and Surendra Gurjar were murdered after their automobile collided with a Rajasthan Roadways bus heading from Dausa to Gangapur City, according to Assistant Sub-Inspector Suresh Chand.
Two more people were critically hurt. He stated that both injured people had been brought to Jaipur for treatment. He stated that the remains had been returned to the family following the post-mortem.
A speeding automobile collided with a wall on the Delhi-Mumbai Super Motorway in the Laxmangarh police station region of Alwar, killing three persons, including two ladies in the car, and injuring two others.
According to Station House Officer Shriram Meena, a car travelling from Delhi to Jaipur crashed with a roadside wall at Chandra Ka Bass, killing Nirmala Pathak (75), Arun Pathak (45), and Muskaan Pathak (19), and injuring two others.
The car passengers were on their way to Pushkar, Rajasthan. Meena stated that the injured were sent to Delhi for treatment by relatives. The remains were handed over to family following the post-mortem, according to the SHO.
Two automobiles crashed at the Pratapgarh district's Dhariyavad police station area. Two of the five persons in the automobile perished, while three others were wounded.
The dead have been named as Bheria (60) and Mandhata Singh (38), according to police. The three injured have been sent to a government hospital, while many others in the second car escaped unharmed.
Both automobiles have been confiscated by police, who are investigating the incident.
