Hanuman Prajapat’s wife Chuki gave birth to their daughter in the Nagaur district hospital last month. The woman later went with the baby to her parents’ house in Harsolav village, nearly 40 km away from the village of her in-laws, for post-delivery care.
“We wanted to make the arrival of my daughter, my princess very special and this was the most I could have done to show how special my daughter is to me and my family,” PTI quoted Prajapat as saying during a telephonic conversation from his native village.
Prajapat said it was his father Madan Lal’s idea to celebrate the birth of his granddaughter, who has been gifted after 35 years.
“My father is very happy with the birth of Riya and he had insisted on arranging the helicopter. He and other family members welcomed us when we landed in our village,” he added.

Extremely ecstatic with his daughter’s birth, Prajapat said that he would make her study and fulfill all her dreams.
“It is usually seen that people do not celebrate the birth of a girl. There should be no discrimination between a girl and a boy,” he added.
Madan Lal on his part echoed similar sentiments and vowed to fulfill all the dreams of his granddaughter.
“After 35 years, we have been gifted with a daughter in the family. So, we made this arrangement. I will fulfill all her dreams,” ANI quoted said Madan Lal as saying.
