President Murmu To Confer Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023 To 11 Children Tomorrow
Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023 will be conferred to children in six different categories including Art and Culture (4), Bravery (1), Innovation (2), Social Service (1), and Sports (3).
New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu will confer Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023 to 11 children tomorrow, Monday at Vigyan Bahwan for their exceptional achievements in six categories. The 11 children, 6 boys and 5 girls, belonging to 11 states and Union Territories will be given a medal, a cash prize of Rupees 11 lakh and a certificate.
The children will be conferred the prizes in six different categories which would include Art and Culture (4), Bravery (1), Innovation (2), Social Service (1), and Sports (3), said the Ministry of Women and Child Development in its official statement.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees on January 24.

Union Minister for Woman and Child Development, Smriti Irani will also interact with the children on January 24 and congratulate them for their exemplary performances in their respective categories, the statement said, adding that Minister of State Munjpara Mahendrabhai would also be present during the event.
The Government of India confers the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) award to children for their exceptional achievements. The awards are conferred upon children in the age group 5 – 18 years, for their excellence in six categories, viz. Art & Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Scholastic, Social Service and Sports, which deserve national recognition. Each awardee of PMRBP is given a medal, a cash prize of Rs.1 Lakh and a Certificate.
