PM Modi Set To Flag-Off Kerala’s First Vande Bharat Express On April 25, Will Also Visit MP's Rewa, Silvassa & Daman

PM Modi will flag off Kerala’s first Vande Bharat Express train that will run from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasargod on the second day of his two-day visit to the state from April 24 to 25.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag-off Kerala’s first Vande Bharat Express train that will run from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasargod at Thiruvananthapuram central station on April 25. The semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express will cover 11 districts including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargod. Kerala BJP has Modi will receive a grand reception at the international airport in Thiruvananthapuram when he arrives in the state.

A statement by Prime Minister's Office (PMO) informed that  Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone and dedicate various projects to the nation worth more than Rs. 3200 crores on his trip to Kerala. 

The official release also mentioned that Modi will lay the foundation of multiple rail projects including the redevelopment of Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, and Varkala Sivagiri railway stations. Meanwhile, PM Modi will also visit Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu on these two days.

PM Modi In Madhya Pradesh's Rewa

Modi will attend a programme on National Panchayati Raj Day in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa at 11.30 AM on April 24. He will lay the foundation stone for several development projects worth around Rs 19,000 crores.

While participating in the  National Panchayati Raj Day event, he will address the Gram Sabhas and Panchayati Raj Institutions all over the country, said the official release. Modi will also inaugurate an integrated eGramSwaraj and GeM portal for public procurement at the Panchayat level.

The objective of eGramSwaraj – Government eMarketplace integration is to enable the Panchayats to procure their goods and services through GeM, leveraging the eGramSwaraj platform, said the official release.

PM Modi In Silvassa And Daman

Modi’s third visit will be to Silvassa at 4 PM on April 25. He will visit NAMO Medical Education & Research Institute. Modu will also lay the foundation stone and dedicate several development projects worth more than Rs. 4850 crores at Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli to the nation.

The Medical Education & Research Institute is expected to transform the healthcare services for the citizens of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. 

In addition to these, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone and dedicate 96 projects worth more than Rs. 4850 crores to the nation at Sayli ground, Silvassa, said the official release.
