Petrol and diesel prices further increase by 13 paisa and 11 paisa respectively

In financial capital Mumbai, the prices are further more expensive as to purchase a litre of petrol; one will have to shed Rs 88.39; whereas to purchase a litre of diesel, one will have to spend Rs 77.58 per litre.

New Delhi: The fuel prices have risen further, after a day-long temporary relief. There has been a rise in petrol prices by 13 paisa and diesel price by 11 paisa. After the rise in prices, the petrol price in national capital per litre has shit up to 81 paisa and diesel price has gone up to Rs 73.08 per litre. In financial capital Mumbai, the prices are further more expensive as to purchase a litre of petrol; one will have to shed Rs 88.39; whereas to purchase a litre of diesel, one will have to spend Rs 77.58 per litre. In Kolkata, the petrol price has touched Rs82.87 per litre. PM Modi calls meeting: The government has finally paid heed to the ever rising fuel prices in the country as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting to discuss the economic condition in the state. The finance Minister Arun Jaitley is also going to be present in the meeting; along with some cabinet ministers. Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday said that Government’s approach towards rising fuel prices is correct as “cutting off the excise duty on fuel will result in fiscal deficit”.
