From The Court Archives: Childbirth In Jail With Husband On Death Row — Story Of Afsan Guru, Lone Woman Accused In 13/12 Case

Afsan Guru walked out of jail in October 2003. Her husband, Shaukat Hussain Guru was released on December 30, 2010, while the main convict Afzal Guru was hanged till death on Feb 9, 2013.

In August 2005, the Supreme Court upheld the Delhi High Court's judgment, acquitting S.A.R. Geelani, a Delhi University college lecturer, while confirming the death sentence awarded to Afzal Guru for the 2001 terror attack on Parliament.
