Pakistan to erect 400 ft tall flag at Wagah border which is 50 ft taller than India's

New Delhi:  The Pakistani government is planning to hoist the eighth largest flag in the world near Wagah border will be 50 feet taller than India’s. According to a report in Pakistan daily The News, The Pakistani flag would be 400 feet high, 120 feet wide, and would illustrate its glory before the enemy, a private news channel reported.  The parade at the Wagah border and patriotic slogans are the essence of the ceremony that people come to witness on daily basis, and this addition of eighth largest flag would surely boost their spirits and passion. Earlier, Indian flag’s installation by Punjab government in Attari was reportedly worth Rs 350 crore. This was objected by the Pakistan Rangers who said the flag close to the border and termed it violation of international treaties.
