Noida: Drunk Man Falls Asleep In Car With AC On, Found Dead In The Morning, Say Police

The man who has been identified as Sundar Pandit, slept inside his car, which was parked in the basement on Saturday night in an inebriated condition

New Delhi: A Noida man, in a drunk state, met the most uncanny death on Monday as he fell asleep in his car with the AC on. The police informed that under the influence of alcohol the man who appeared to have fallen asleep inside his car, was found dead by his brother on Sunday. The family did not lodge any complaint alleging any kind of foul-play in the death. They  also told police that he was a habitual alcoholic. Jabalpur Auto Driver Thrashed Brutally By Two Men Over Road Rage The man who has been identified as Sundar Pandit, slept inside his car, which was parked in the basement on Saturday night in an inebriated condition. He died apparently due to inhaling toxic gases like Carbon Monoxide coming out from the engine, pulled in the cabin by the AC, police have said. His brother found him unconscious in the car and immediately took him to a hospital, where he was declared dead. The man, a resident of Barola village, had come to spend his weekend at his another home in Sector 107 of Noida. His body has been cremated by his family members and funeral has been performed. The police took note of the incident and gathered the basic information on its own as no complaint was made. (with inputs from PTI)
