Nitish Kumar Similar To Foreign Women Who Change Their Boyfriends Any Time, Says Kailash Vijayvargiya
Vijayvargiya launched a scathing attack on Nitish Kumar for severing ties with the BJP in the state and joining hands with the RJD-led Grand Alliance.
BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Thursday said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was similar to women in foreign nations who change their boyfriends any time, ANI reported. Speaking to reporters in Indore on the recent change in government in Bihar, Vijayvargiya launched a scathing attack on Kumar for severing ties with the BJP in the state and joining hands with the RJD-led Grand Alliance.
"When I was travelling abroad, someone there said that women there change their boyfriends at any time. Bihar CM is also similar, never know who's hand he may hold or leave," ANI quoted Vijayvargiya as saying.
Nitish Kumar severed ties with BJP for a second time in eight years and joined hands with RJD and other opposition parties. Nitish had dumped the BJP in June 2013 too. Kumar had ended his relation of 17 years with NDA after the BJP named then Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as its prime ministerial candidate.
In July 2017, Nitish had stormed out of the ruling Grand Alliance to team up with the BJP and form a new government.
Last week, he took oath as the Bihar Chief Minister for the eighth time. Along with him, Tejashwi Yadav took oath as deputy CM.
Nitish Kumar became the chief minister of Bihar in March 2000, November 2005, November 2010, February 2015, November 2015, July 2017, November 2020 and August 10, 2022.
The BJP pointed to Kumar's "habit" of political somersaults to attack him. BJP leader and Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey had said, "Nitish Kumar is a perennial 'Paltu Ram' (turncoat). No one can trust him now. People of Bihar are going to see another round of jungle raj."

Earlier in the day, former JD(U) leader RCP Singh slammed Nitish Kumar for repeatedly changing alliances and claimed that Janata Dal (United) will merge with Lalu Prasad Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal in near future.
"How many more times will he (Nitish Kumar) switch sides? He has already done that four times – in 1994, 2013, 2017 and 2022," ANI quoted Singh as saying. "It's certain. What option do they have?," he added when asked if JD(U) will merge with the RJD.
