Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced at the meeting that India will host the next in-person Quad Summit in 2024. The Summit venue changed to Japan due to US President Joe Biden’s change of itinerary as he had to be back home to attend debt crisis talks.

The Quad countries are the US, India, Japan and Australia.
