Mumbai SHOCKER caught on CAM: Shiv Sena workers thrash North Indian family for 'running food stall'
The police have now filed a complaint over the incident in Dadar police station, but no arrests have been made so far.
Mumbai: In an outrageous incident, a man and his family were brutally thrashed allegedly by Shiv Sena workers, for running a ‘food stall’. The family was beaten up for ‘selling in Mumbai in spite of being North Indians’. The entire family has faced severe injuries.As per sources, around 40-50 party workers came and started thrashing a boy who was running a food stall. On interfering they also hit the family members of the boy, including his mother.
The entire incident which has been captured on a camera shows Sena leaders beating the boy with sticks, left right and centre. The boy has also suffered several deep wounds on his head.
Speaking on the incident, one of the family members of the boy Priyanka Pandey said “They told us that you ‘bhaiyas’ cannot sell in Mumbai as it belongs to us”. She further added saying, “We have complained also but police is not doing proper investigation. The boy who led the group of Sena goons is sleeping peacefully in house and our family is suffering”.
The police have now filed a complaint over the incident in Dadar police station, but no arrests have been made so far.
This isn't the first incident where North Indians are discriminated against in Mumbai. Several such incidents have come to light over the years and they don't seem to stop.
