Three Arrested For Attacking Lawyer With Swords In Mumbai’s Borivali, Video Of Attack Surfaces

The goons surrounded and attacked a lawyer in Mumbai's Borivali who is now taking medical treatment at a hospital.

Mumbai: A lawyer named Satyadev Joshi was allegedly attacked in broad daylight by a group of goons who surrounded him and thrashed him with sticks and swords in the Borivali area in Mumbai. The lawyer has been hospitalized owing to the injuries he sustained due to the attack.

A Mumbai based lawyer shared the undated video of the attack. "Adv. Satyadev Joshi came to be assaulted today with swords & such deadly weapons by local goons at Kandivali while rendering professional services to a client. He is hospitalised," he tweeted.

The shocking video shows a group of 5-6 men surrounding the lawyer and attacking him as people around stand mute and make no attempts to save him. 

The attack in broad daylight against a lawyer raises serious questions on the law and order in the metropolis.

Three persons have been arrested for attacking the lawyer and an FIR has been registered too., Mumbai Police was quoted by news agency ANI as saying.
