Visuals of the moments before an Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Advanced Light Helicopter or ALH-DHRUV Mark 3 helicopter had to make a forced landing in Kerala's Kochi on Sunday were captured on camera and surfaced on social media.
The helicopter is seen losing control and crashing in the video posted by the news agency ANI. The chopper had three pilots, one of whom suffered minor injuries. The chopper was on a training flight. The forced landing occurred while the pilots were testing the helicopter.

The chopper was about 25 feet in the air when it was forced to land. The ICG is working to restart the ALH Dhruv fleet's operations
"A forced landing of an Indian Coast Guard ALH Dhruv Mark 3 helicopter occurred today in Kochi while the force's pilots were testing the chopper. The chopper was about 25 feet above the ground when it was forced to land. The ICG is working to restart the ALH Dhruv fleet's operations," Officials from the ICG issued in a statement.

The fleet of ALH Dhruv choppers has been grounded since March 8 due to an accident involving a Navy chopper off the coast of Mumbai.
On March 8, an Indian Navy ALH was involved in a mishap off the coast of Mumbai. According to the navy, three crew members were successfully rescued by a naval patrol vessel. An investigation into the incident has also been ordered.
