A social media post by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulating Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his son Jay Shah becoming the ICC Chairman has become a talking point on the internet.
Congratulating Shah in a cryptic post, Mamata said the minister's son has not become a politician but assumed a post which is even more important and powerful.
"Your son has not become a politician, but has become the ICC Chairman - a post much much more important than most politicians'!! Your son has indeed become very very powerful and I congratulate you on his this most elevated achievement indeed!" Mamata Banerjee said in a post on X.

The internet users were quick to remind Mamata Banerjee about her nephew Abhishek Banerjee, who is Trinamool Congress MP and holds the position of National General Secretary in the party.
