Major Robbery In BJP Leader Sonali Phogat's House; Jewellery, Licensed Revolver, Rs 10 Lakh & More Stolen

Hisar: BJP leader Sonali Phogat has filed a complaint with the police revealing that several valuable items such as jewellery, a licensed revolver, Rs 10 lakh and more have been stolen from her house in Haryana's Hisar. Former Tiktok star Sonali Phogat, in her complaint, informed that the theft took place after she went to Chandigarh on February 9. She had locked her house but when she returned back to her place in Hisar on February 15, she saw that the locks were broken.
Revealing details about the case on Tuesday, Police stated that there are CCTV cameras in the house but thieves also managed to take out the digital video recorder (DVR) that contained recorded footage.
According to the report, gold and silverware, a silver pot, Rs 10 lakh cash, jewellery, a .22 bore licensed pistol and eight cartridges were found missing from the house.
HTM Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhjit said that the theft case is being investigated.
Phogat, who was recently seen in the latest season of Bigg Boss, had contested the 2019 assembly election from the Adampur seat where she had lost against Kuldeep Bishnoi, son of former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal.
