Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday said his government had taken the deaths at a hospital in Nanded very seriously, and appropriate action would be taken after a detailed inquiry while denying that there were shortages of medicines and staff. On Tuesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said his administration took the fatalities at a hospital in Nanded very seriously and that necessary action will be taken after a thorough investigation, while denying that there were shortages of medications and employees. According to him, many of those who died were elderly persons with heart conditions, underweight newborns, or accident victims. "The deaths are unfortunate. We have taken the incident very seriously.
