'Look Within': Scindia After Rahul Gandhi's Ladakh Remark, Says Congress Chanted 'Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai' Slogans

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said Congress should look within themselves after Rahul Gandhi's Ladakh remark.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said Congress should look within themselves after Rahul Gandhi said Prime Minister Modi's claim that not an inch of land was taken away in Ladakh was not true. Scindia said, "Congress who chanted the slogans of 'hindi chini bhai bhai' and gave away 45,000 sq km to China should first look within."

Earlier in the day, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a swipe at PM Modi and said that the Prime Minister claimed that not an inch of land was taken away in Ladakh, but that's not true.  He said, "you can ask anyone about it". Gandhi stated that the people in the region have said that the Chinese army entered the area and took away their grazing land.

Congress on Sunday took a swipe at PM Modi over Chinese incursions in Ladakh saying he is more concerned about his image than the country. Congress General Secretary in-charge Communications Jairam Ramesh, who has been attacking the Centre over the issue, wrote on X: “The Prime Minister is more concerned about his image than the country. So after the intrusion on June 19, 2020, he gave clean chit to China.”

Congress Spokesperson and Chairman of Media and Publicity, Pawan Khera on X wrote, “Any other Prime Minister would have gone to these areas and sent a loud signal to China. “Our Prime Minister whimpered a clean chit. Thank you Rahul Gandhi for sending out the much required message to China and the world. This is our land,” Khera said.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge had earlier said that the nation is paying a heavy price for PM Modi’s clean chit to China. “China should be confronted strategically together, and not by making hollow boasts,” he had said.

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) leader Sanjay Raut said that China has captured India's land and there is evidence of it as well. Extending his support to the Congress MP, Raut said that if Rahul Gandhi says something, he says it thoughtfully. "China has captured India's land and there is evidence of it as well. If Defence Minister & Prime Minister does not accept this, I think it is an injustice to Mother India. If Rahul Gandhi says something he says it thoughtfully," Sanjay Raut said.
