Mumbai: Actor Kangana Ranaut has reached Mumbai amid her massive spat with Shiv Sena the ruling coalition member in Maharashtra. Karni Sena came out in support of Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and has sought action against Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. The Karni Sena members staged a protest in Gorakhpur on Tuesday against Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut for his disparaging remarks against the actor.

In the ongoing Kangana Ranaut versus the state of Maharashtra war, state Home Minister Deshmukh on Tuesday ordered a probe into the actress' alleged statements that she consumed drugs.

Mumbai Police have made adequate security arrangements near the airport here ahead of actress Kangana Ranaut's arrival, an official said on Wednesday. Ranaut, who is locked in a bitter war of words with the ruling Shiv Sena in Maharashtra over her comments on the Mumbai Police after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, is expected to reach here in the afternoon.

"We have made adequate security arrangements near the airport to avoid any untoward incident," a police official said.

In the past, Ranaut has said that she feared Mumbai Police more than the "movie mafia", and would prefer security either from her home state Himachal Pradesh or the Centre.

"As I am all set for Mumbai Darshan on my way to the airport,Maha government and their goons are at my property all set to illegally break it down, go on! I promised to give blood for Maharashtra pride this is nothing take everything but my spirit will only rise higher and higher," she tweeted this morning.

The Centre earlier this week decided to give her 'Y-plus' security. Even Union minister Ramdas Athawale on Tuesday said workers of his Republican Party of India (A) will provide protection to Ranaut when she reaches Mumbai.

Earlier, he (Pawar) sought to downplay recent comments by Kangana Ranaut, saying that such statements do not matter to the common people.. "There is no need to give more importance to such statements. Such statements do not matter to the common l public. People do not pay attention to such things. There is absolutely no need to take them seriously. Rather my complaint is that the media is giving more attention to such news," Pawar told the media.
