The flight departing from Delhi on Monday evening encountered turbulence due to strong winds in Srinagar. Adverse weather conditions, exacerbated by heavy rain and snowfall, led to delays in flight schedules.

The 30-second captured video, captured by a passenger on board, depicts the travelers gripping their seats tightly as the aircraft encounters turbulence. Concerned expressions are visible on the faces of the passengers as the shaking intensifies. The unsteady recording concludes with anxious whispers circulating among the travelers. The plane landed safely in Srinagar but was delayed due to adverse weather conditions.

IndiGo gave its statements by answering the situation that the flight was struck by "inclement weather"

“IndiGo flight 6E6125 from Delhi to Srinagar faced severe turbulent weather en route. The crew followed all operational protocols and landed safely in Srinagar. We regret the inconvenience caused to passengers due to the inclement weather,” the statement explained.

The airline additionally issued the guidance, indicating that adverse weather conditions would impact both the departure and arrival of flights in Srinagar.

The Meteorological Department has issued a caution regarding a prolonged period of wet weather expected to persist across Jammu and Kashmir until Wednesday afternoon. Anticipated are occurrences of light to moderate precipitation, including rain and snow, in various areas encompassing plains and lower altitudes.
