The plane landed safely in Srinagar but was delayed due to adverse weather conditions.
IndiGo gave its statements by answering the situation that the flight was struck by "inclement weather"
“IndiGo flight 6E6125 from Delhi to Srinagar faced severe turbulent weather en route. The crew followed all operational protocols and landed safely in Srinagar. We regret the inconvenience caused to passengers due to the inclement weather,” the statement explained.
The airline additionally issued the guidance, indicating that adverse weather conditions would impact both the departure and arrival of flights in Srinagar.
The Meteorological Department has issued a caution regarding a prolonged period of wet weather expected to persist across Jammu and Kashmir until Wednesday afternoon. Anticipated are occurrences of light to moderate precipitation, including rain and snow, in various areas encompassing plains and lower altitudes.
