'Don't Worry, Tell The Truth': Rahul Gandhi Fires Fresh Salvo At PM Modi Over Chinese Intrusion

In a video address, the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the Prime Minister should tell the truth about the Chinese occupation of Indian territory.

New Delhi: Stepping up his attack on the Central government regarding Chinese incursion in Indian territory, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to 'tell the truth about Chinese intrusion in India'. ALSO READ| Atma Nirbhar UP Rozgar Abhiyan: 1.25 Cr Jobs- A New Record; Know The key Features Of Yogi's Scheme In a video message which was also shared on his Twitter account, Gandhi referred to the PM's remarks 'No Intrusion' remarks made during an all-party meeting and said that the PM must come clean about the Chinese occupation of Indian territory. “Our Prime Minister said that no one entered India but there are reports, satellite imagery, even people from Ladakh and retired army generals who are saying that China has grabbed Indian territory at three places,” said Gandhi in the video. He added, “The Prime Minister will have to tell the truth to the nation. There is nothing to worry about. If you say that the areas have not been occupied and in reality, it is the opposite, then China stands to benefit from it.” ALSO READ| J&K Starts Exercise To Evict Former Legislators From Government Accommodations Gandhi also questioned about reports of soldiers fighting at the border without weapons and said that 'we have to fight China together and remove them from our country. You should not fear anything and tell the truth." The Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi also made a virtual address and raised questions regarding Chinese occupation. “The Prime Minister says China didn’t infiltrate but, the defence ministry and external affairs ministry have repeatedly mentioned about Chinese incursions,” said Sonia Gandhi in a report by ANI. She also said that the Central government cannot shirk their responsibility “The Chinese army has occupied Indian territory in Ladakh. How will the Modi government take back our land,” she asked.
