IAS officer Anurag Tiwari's death: Family reaches Lucknow to meet CM Yogi Adityanath, demands CBI enquiry

New Delhi: IAS officer Anurag Tiwari's family members reached Lucknow to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday. Brother Mayank and mother Sushila demanded a CBI enquiry into top bureaucrat's death. In a shocking and mysterious case an IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, Anurag Tiwari was found dead near Hazratganj's Meerabai Guest House in Lucknow, state capital of Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened on last Wednesday morning when the IAS officer was reportedly out on a morning walk. He died on his birth day.

Senior officials reached Hazratganj. The 35-year-old Tiwari's body was found in Hazratganj in Lucknow and his identity was established following credentials recovered from his belongings.

He was a 2007 batch IAS officer and was in Food And Supply department in Karnataka.
