'He Is Silent Because He Knows It's His Ideology That...': Rahul Gandhi Attacks PM Modi On Manipur — Video

Gandhi further said that, PM Modi is the prime minister of the selected few people.

In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Manipur issue, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that the Prime Minister is not speaking a word on Manipur because he knows that its his ideology which has burned Manipur. In a video message Gandhi said that, PM Modi is the prime minister of the selected few people. The former MP called PM Modi "Prime Minister of the RSS".

Gandhi said that people must be surprised as to why the Prime Minister is not going to Manipur. "All of you have seen what has happened in Manipur. All of you must be wondering why PM Modi has not said even a single word on the issue. All of you must have expected that in a situation where a state in the country is burning, the prime minister will definitely say something about it, Gandhi said in the video.

"Many of you must have thought that the Prime Minister would sit in the aircraft and travel to Manipur to speak to the people of the state. Any of the previous prime ministers would have done that. A PM from Congress would have sat there only. But you people must be surprised as to why the Prime Minister is not going to Manipur. PM Modi is the PM of only a select few people; he is the Prime Minister of the RSS and has nothing to do with Manipur. He knows that it's his ideology that has burned Manipur," he added.

Rahul Gandhi said that there is fight between ideologies in this country and there are several parties in the Opposition, but the battle of ideologies is between the BJP and the Congress. Continuing the attack on the BJP and RSS, Gandhi said that they want a few selected people should run this country and the entire wealth should be in the hands of a selected few people.

"In the country, there is a fight between ideologies. On one side, there is the ideology of the BJP and RSS, and on the other, there is the ideology of the Congress party. There are several parties in the Opposition, but the battle of ideologies is between the BJP and the Congress. The ideology of the Congress is that of the Constitution and is one that connects people. The ideology of Congress is to fight against an unequal social system," Congress leader said.

"RSS and BJP want that a few selected people should run this country, the entire wealth should be in the hands of a selected few people, and all the institutions should stay under their control only. Be it bureaucracy, the Election Commission, the Judiciary, or the Army RSS wants everything to be under their control. But we want that our institutions, our country, belong to everyone, every caste, and every religion, and everyone should be protected, and there should be peace and brotherhood in the country," he added.
