'He Has No Relevance In His Own Party': AAP Slams Congress Leader Sandeep Dixit's 'Tihar Jail' Remark
Calling Dixit as "irrelevant", Bhardwaj said that he has not relevance in Congress.
Over Congress leader Sandeep Dixit's "party found in Tihar Jail" remark, Delhi minister & AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj on Tuesday stated that as part of I.N.D.I.A alliance one needs to forget all these things and come together to save democracy, news agency ANI reported. Speaking with media, Bhardwaj stated: "We need to rise above these small things. When you become a part of a big alliance, then you have to forget all these small things and come together to save the country, to save the system from the current government, to save democracy. Therefore there is a need to forget such small disputes."
Calling Dixit as "irrelevant", Bhardwaj said that he has not relevance in Congress. "He (Sandeep Dixit) has no relevance right now, he has no relevance in his own party, so why should I make him relevant by speaking about him," he stated.

On Monday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took a go at the Congress, stating that the shortest narrative a mother can tell her child in Delhi or Punjab is 'Ek thi Congress... (Once there was a Congress)'. On Tuesday, Congress politician Sandeep Dikshit replied to Mann by claiming that soon, mothers would claim that there was a party in Tihar Jail. He inquired as to which party has 40% of its leadership imprisoned and the rest on trial. The spat occurs during I.N.D.I.A seat-sharing negotiations.
Dikshit made the remark in reference to the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) present predicament with the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED has been investigating the AAP in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy fraud for the past year. A number of alleged financial irregularities were observed throughout the policy's execution. The ED is thoroughly investigating the situation. Former Minister Satyendra Jain and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have already been imprisoned in the case.
