Haryana: 5 people sleeping on footpath mowed to death by speeding car in Hisar

In a yet another tragic accident, as many as 5 people were mowed down by a speeding car on Tuesday night in Haryana’s Hisar.

Hisar: In a yet another tragic accident, as many as 5 people were mowed down by a speeding car on Tuesday night in Haryana’s Hisar. According to the initial reports, the incident took place at around 2 am when workers were sleeping on the footpath of a flyover. According to new agency ANI, the speeding car then hit another car and fell off the bridge. Soon as the incident was reported, Police reached the spot and further investigation is underway. The victims are said to be residents of Bihar. Several workers, after completing the construction work of the flyover, were sleeping at the flyover's footpath when the incident took place. Nine other workers are also said to be critically injured. Even the drivers of both the cars were injured. Reportedly it is said that the car which killed the labours also fell from the flyover after crushing them. (Further details awaited)
