Happy Republic Day 2022: ITBP Jawans Celebrate R-Day At Sub-Zero Temperatures | WATCH

The personnel of Indo-Tibetan Border Police celebrated the Republic Day on a blanket of snow in the sub zero temperature levels at the borders of Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. 

New Delhi: While preparations for the 73rd Republic Day parade are in full swing in the plains of the national capital of Delhi, the enthusiasm is no less at the borders. The personnel of Indo-Tibetan Border Police celebrated the Republic Day on a blanket of snow in the sub zero temperature levels at the borders of Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. 

 

Celebration at Ladakh border

At an altitude of 15,000 feet and freezing temperature of minus 35 degree Celsius, the enthusiasm of ITBP personnel at Ladakh border is unmatched.

Celebration at Uttarakhand border

ITBP personnel at Uttarakhand border too did not stay behind on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day celebrations. At 12,000 feet in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, the ITBP jawans hoisted the National Flag and sang the National Anthem.

Celebration at Himachal Pradesh border

The state recently witnessed heavy snowfall but the harsh winter conditions did not deter the spirits of the ITBP jawans in Himachal Pradesh who hoisted the flag at 16,000 feet.
