New Delhi: A sensational murder case has come to light as former Union Minister PR Kumaramangalam's wife was murdered at her Delhi residence in Vasant Vihar on Tuesday night. The police have arrested a person while search for two others is on.
As per the early inputs, the murder took place around 9 pm on Tuesday night. The police suspect that the incident happened during the course of robbery in the house.
The 67-year-old Kitty Mangalam was alone in the house with her maid at the time of the incident. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the accused took the house help hostage and locked him in a room.
Kitty Kumaramangalam has been a lawyer in the Supreme Court. His son is the leader of Congress. As soon as he got information about this incident, he has left for Delhi from Bangalore. Her husband PR Kumaramangalam had served as a minister in the PV Narasimha Rao government. Later he joined BJP. He was also the power minister during the Vajpayee government.
