Flood-like situation in Moradabad; at least 25 villages drowned due to incessant rains
The situation was created after water-level in Ramganga rose due to rains.
Uttar Pradesh: As Kerala is pulling itself out of a deluge and trying to restore normalcy, a flood-like situation has risen in UP’s Moradabad; as heavy and incessant rains have led to water logging in various areas.
The situation was created after water-level in Ramganga rose due to rains.
The condition is getting tenser and the people have to take the help tractor trolleys to cross roads on their vehicles. The region near Islamnagar village has completely drowned, including 25 villages.
To ensure the safety of people, the government had prohibited people to leave or enter Moradabad on Tuesday.
People are now trying to leave the villages with the help of tractors now.
The government hasn't so far declared a flood in the region, but the situation is no better than a disaster.Flood-like situation in Moradabad after the water-level in Ramganga rose following heavy and continued rainfall in Uttarakhand. (Earlier visuals) pic.twitter.com/MnQOKWoGp1
