'Don't Think It Will Bring Any Dramatic Change In 2024 Elections': Prashant Kishor On Nitish Kumar Meeting Oppn Leaders
“Bihar's political developments are specific to state only. I don't think it will affect national politics at all," Kishor said.
New Delhi: A day after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited New Delhi, calling for Opposition unity to take on the ruling alliance, poll strategist Prashant Kishor on Thursday said Kumar meeting the Opposition leaders will not bring any dramatic change pertaining to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
“What's new in it, how can we consider that something new is being done by the Opposition? I don't think it will bring a dramatic change pertaining to 2024 elections,” Prashant Kishor said.
“Bihar's political developments are specific to state only. I don't think it will affect national politics at all. If one is meeting people in Delhi, that doesn't mean one's stature is rising on a national level. Even Mamata Banerjee and KCR met many people in Delhi,” he said.
It is to be noted that the Bihar CM has been meeting opposition leaders since September 5.
He has met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, CPI general secretary D Raja, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, INLD chief O.P. Chautala, SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, NCP's Sharad Pawar and CPI(ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya.
Taking a further dig at Kumar, Kishor said, “After being CM for 17 years, Nitish Kumar has recognised that 10 lakh jobs could be given...He is a big leader he knows everything from 'A-Z' while others don't know anything...Let 12 months pass, then we'll ask who knows 'ABC' & who knows 'XYZ'.”

This comes after the poll strategist took a jibe at Kumar earlier in the day after the latter called him a publicity expert and said that he might be wanting to help the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Following Kumar’s statement, the former JDU member tweeted four photos of Kumar with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an apparent dig at the earlier alliance between the two parties.
Kishor, however deleted the tweet later where all the four photos showed Kumar greeting PM Modi with folded hands. He did not write any captions with the images.
Notably, the JDU chief broke ties with the saffron party last month and joined hands with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) to form Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar.
