Delhi Sees Dip In Covid-19 Cases, Registers 12,527 New Infections And 24 Deaths
The active Covid cases rise to 83,982 in the national capital and the positivity rate remains at 27.99 per cent.
New Delhi: Delhi saw a dip in Covid-19 cases on Monday, reporting 12,527 new infections and 24 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to data shared by the health department.
Active Covid cases declined to 83,982 in the national capital while the positivity rate remained at 27.99 per cent. Delhi had registered 18,286 fresh Covid cases and 28 deaths due to Covid-19 on Sunday.

Around 68,275 Covid patients are in home isolation, while 2,684 have been admitted to hospitals, as per the health bulletin released by the Delhi government.
Of the 15,505 beds in dedicated Covid hospitals, just 2,784 are occupied.
Earlier in the day, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the national capital would report around 14,000-15,000 cases today, much less than yesterday, news agency ANI reported.
He said that around 2.85 crore doses had been administered in Delhi. "100 per cent of the eligible population have been inoculated with the first dose, 80% with the second dose, and 1.28 lakh people have received the precautionary dose," Jain said.
On Thursday, the national capital had reported 28,867 cases, the sharpest single-day spike here since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said over 3.5 crore children between the 15-18 age group had received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine since January 3.
