Delhi Police Questions Youth Congress President Srinivas In Connection With 'Illegal Distribution' Of Covid Medicines
Other names given by the petitioner Dr Deepak Singh, chairman of the non-profit Hrudaya Foundation, in his complaint to police include AAP MLA Dilip Pandey, Srinivas as well as BJP MPs Gautam Gambhir and Sujay Vikhe, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Congress MLA Mukesh Sharma.
Delhi: Delhi Crime Branch Police on Friday questioned President of Indian Youth Congress Srinivas BV in connection with alleged “illegal distribution of Covid medicines, etc”, police said.
Delhi Police spokesperson Chinmoy Biswal said, “On a writ filed by Dr Deepak Singh about politicians involved in illegal distribution of Covid medicines, etc, the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi has directed Delhi Police to conduct an enquiry. In compliance with directions of Hon’ble High Court, an enquiry is being conducted from several concerned persons.”

Following the court order, the Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava asked a team of Crime Branch to conduct an enquiry. Police had earlier approached AAP MLA Dilip Pandey in connection with the same issue.
Responding to this issue, Congress tweeted saying, "Your cowardice is showing PM Modi. India knows the only reason you're trying to stop @IYC is because @srinivasiyc & thousands of Indians like him are ruining your image further. They've done what you have never been able to do: help people without prejudice. #IStandWithIYC"
