New Delhi: The NCR region witnessed two incidents of massive fire outbreak overnight.
In the first incident , fire broke out in Meerut’s Partapur (Uttar Pradesh) chemical factory on Monday evening around 4:30 p.m.
All the workers had safely escaped the spot and no causalities have been reported so far. Fire fighters, who arrived immediately, managed to get the fire in control.
As per reports, it took more than two hours for the fire fighters to extinguish the fire. The drums in the factory were in a wrecked state, but the fighters managed to prevent fire from spreading to adjacent godown. A similar incidence took place in Amar Colony located in Nangloi’s Kamruddin Nagar, Delhi, where a plastic godown caught fire late at night. The mishap took place around 11 p.m. Twenty five fire tenders are currently at the spot to douse the fire.
