Delhi: German national attacked near Geeta Colony, Sushma Swaraj seeks report

New Delhi: In a suspected robbery case, a 19-year-old German national was stabbed in north Delhi.  The incident took place yesterday around 10.26 PM near Geeta Colony while he was on his way from Chandni chowk to ISBT. The man was robbed and then stabbed multiple times by a rickshawpuller and his friend who took Benjamin to a secluded spot. His mobile phone and wallet was robbed. However, Benjamin tried to escape further attack and ran towards a nearby flyover where locals found him bleeding profusely. They immediately admitted him to a private hospital. Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj tweeted on Saturday seeking a report on the attack and has asked for the best medical treatment for the victim. “I have asked for a report on the attack on German national in Delhi. I have asked Delhi Government to provide him best medical treatment,” she tweeted.
