Ghazipur Border Tension: Who Let Farmers Enter Red Fort? Rahul Gandhi Blames Amit Shah For R-Day Violence

Ghazipur Border Tension: Rahul Gandhi said that the mandi system will end with the new agricultural laws and if the government does not accept farmers' demand then the ongoing movement will increase further in the coming days.

Rahul Gandhi has hit out at the Central Government on Friday over the ongoing farmers' protest against the controversial farm laws. The former Congress party president said that the 'only solution is to put farm laws in a waste bin.' Rahul Gandhi held a press conference on Friday evening in support of farmers agitating against the new three agricultural laws of the central government and assured the farmers that there is no need to back down.

During the presser, Rahul Gandhi said that the mandi system will end with the new agricultural laws and if the government does not accept farmers' demand then the ongoing movement will increase further in the coming days.

The Congress leader said that the three Farm laws will enable selected businessmen of the country to be able to 'hoard' as much agriculture produce as they want. Rahul also questioned the Delhi Police for the violence during the tractor rally on Republic Day.

"Why were people allowed in the Red Fort? Why weren't they stopped? Ask the Home Minister what the objective was, of letting those people inside the premises," said Rahul Gandhi.

Launching a sharp attack on the central government, Rahul Gandhi said that the central government should talk to the farmers and give them a solution and the only solution is to withdraw these agricultural laws.

"Govt must talk to farmers & arrive at a solution. The only solution is to repeal laws & put them in a wastebasket. Govt must not think farmers will go home. My concern is that this situation will spread. But, we don't need that, we need a solution," he added.
