Many families have lost their loved ones due to this deadly coronavirus pandemic. The central government is constantly engaged in creating public awareness about the risk of transmission. Banners, posters with guidelines are put up in public places to create awareness and the best ways to control the spread of Covid-19. 

The Health Department is also making effort to make people aware and follow the Covid-19 rules. As the second wave of covid-19 is near its fag end and a third wave is predicted, let us also look at some of the basic guidelines and safety measures against Covid 19.

Social Distancing

To prevent corona infection maintaining a 'two yards distance' is necessary. People have to follow social distancing while coming out for necessary work.

Use Mask In Public

It is necessary to use a mask to protect oneself and the others against Covid-19. Not using a mask in public places may also attract a fine by the administration. Wearing a mask not only protects you but safeguards others as preventing the spread of coronavirus. Instructions have also been issued to wash hands thoroughly with soap from time to time, especially if you have been outside. 

Avoid Public Gathering 

Public gathering or family functions or programs has to be under control as it can become a source of transmission for Covid 19. Different states have issued guidelines regarding the number of guests and may also attract fines if norms are not followed. Public gatherings at homes are also forbidden. 

Encourage COVID-19 Vaccination 

The central government has said that people can make each other aware of the coronavirus vaccination drive taking place in the country. But spreading misinformation about the corona vaccine can lead to punitive action.
