Rahul Gandhi Resumes Bharat Jodo Yatra In Raj, Will Take Part In Himachal CM's Oath-Taking Ceremony Today
Post this strech of Yatra of 13 km, Rahul Gandhi will be leaving for Himachal Pradesh to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu as the new Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi resumed Bharat Jodo Yatra on Sunday morning from Baldevpura of Rajasthan's Bundi district. He will be covering a distance of 13 km in this Yatra before he leaves for Shimla to attend the oath-taking ceremony of his party government in Himachal Pradesh after Congress won the poll elections there, reported a news agency PTI. Senior party leaders such as Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi and many more will be attending the swearing-in ceremony as well.
PTI quoted All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary, Jairam Ramesh saying that Rahul Gandhi will be covering the remaining 9 km of the Yatra in evening.
Ramesh tweeted: "The 95th day of #BharatJodoYatra started at 6 PM. After 13 KM walk this morning @RahulGandhi will leave for Himachal. He will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new Congress government along with Congress President Kharge. He will come back in the evening for the remaining 9 KM padyatra."

Mukesh Agnihotri will be the Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu who is a four-time MLA and Chairman of the Congress' state election campaign committee will become the new Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Rajasthan on December 5 and so far it has covered districts such as Jhalawar, and Kota before reaching Bundi. Post Bundi it will cover districts such as Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, and Alwar. Rajasthan is the only Congress-ruled state where the yatra has entered and will cover about 500 km over 17 days before entering Haryana on December 21.
The Yatra started from Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu and till now it has covered five states such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana. It then covered Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh as well. It is expected to conclude in February 2023 in Jammu and Kashmir and will cover 3,570 km total in 150 days.
