Congress's 'Bharat Jodo...' March To Be Paused As Rahul Gandhi's Gets Cambridge Invite, Lok Sabha Poll Events
Jairam Ramesh said that the Congress will pause the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from February 26 to March 1.
Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra: Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said on Wednesday that the party will pause the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from February 26 to March 1 due to several important meetings in the national capital pertaining to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Ramesh further informed that senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is leading the march, is scheduled to go to Cambridge University on February 27 and 28.
Speaking to ANI, Jairam Ramesh said, "There will be a break from February 26 to March 1 as there are many important meetings regarding elections in Delhi and it is necessary for Rahul Gandhi to be present there. On February 27-28, Rahul Gandhi will go to Cambridge University, he will deliver two lectures there...We will resume the yatra from March 2 and on March 5, Rahul Gandhi will visit Mahakaleshwar temple,' Jairam Ramesh said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

Ramesh further said that the Yatra will resume on March 2. "We will resume the yatra from March 2 and on March 5, Rahul Gandhi will visit the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain," the Congress leader said.
Rahul Gandhi is set to share the stage with RJD president Lalu Prasad and CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury at a mega rally in Patna on March 3. The announcement was made at a press conference addressed jointly by Mahagathbandhan leaders including state Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh and his RJD counterpart Jagadanand Singh.
