CM Amarinder Turns Chef, Cooking Lavish Dinner For Olympics Medal Winners | See Menu
During an event last month, Amarinder Singh had invited the Games 2020 stars from Punjab to a dinner and promised to cook for them.
New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has invited Olympic medal winners from Punjab to dinner and will be cooking a wide array of dishes, including lamb and zarda rice, pulao, for Tokyo stars from the state on Wednesday. India's star track and field athlete Neeraj Chopra, Olympics gold medal winner from Haryana, has also been invited to the dinner.
"From Patiala cuisine to pulao, lamb, chicken, aloo and Zarda rice, CM @capt_amarinder will prepare each of these delicacies himself to keep his promise to Punjab Olympic medal winners (& Neeraj Chopra) at the dinner he's hosting for them tomorrow!" said Raveen Thukral, media advisor to the Punjab Chief Minister, in a tweet.

During an event last month, Amarinder Singh had invited the Games 2020 stars from the state to a dinner and promised to cook for them. Gold medalist Neeraj Chopra was also invited but he couldn't attend the event.
"I am not too fond of eating but I do like cooking quite a bit. I will cook for all of you... All medallists will also be offered jobs by the Punjab government. We will have schools and roads named after you," CM Amarinder had said during the event.
According to news agency PTI, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has announced cash awards worth over Rs 32 crore for Tokyo Olympic 2020 participants and medal winners.
