What makes this decision interesting is that it comes as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi has been attacking the Aam Aadmi Party over the public celebrations prohibited in Delhi. But no! Chhat is banned. This is their attempt to hide their failures". Besides Delhi and now Panchkula, the Jharkhand government also made the move to ban Chhath Puja in water bodies and issued a set of guidelines for the day.
