Ceasefire Violation By Pakistan In URI Sector; Two Civilians Injured In Firing
Officials said that this afternoon Pakistani Rangers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation, resulting in injuries to two civilians.

In a fresh case of ceasefire violation in the Uri sector, Pakistani troops targeted Indian posts and villages with heavy weapons on Saturday afternoon. Two civilians have been injured after the Pakistan army targeted Indian positions at Hajipeer sector, Nambla and Rustum post in Baramulla.
Officials said that this afternoon Pakistani Rangers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation, resulting in injuries to two civilians identified as Ahmed Sheikh (60) and Maqbool Mangral (20). “Condition of both the injured is stable.”
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Baramulla Abdul Qayoom also confirmed that the two civilians were injured by Pakistani shelling in Hajiper sector during ceasefire violation this afternoon.
He said both the civilians were shifted to hospital for further treatment and their condition was stable
Meanwhile, responding to ceasefire violation by Pakistan, India has taken a tough stand. The Ministry of External Affairs has summoned the Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan.
The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday morning shot down a Pakistani spy drone carrying weapons in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. Multiple weapons have been recovered from the drone which was brought down by the security forces.
