'Brothers For Life': CPRF Jawans Attend Wedding Of Martyred Constable Shailendra Singh's Sister

New Delhi: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans in a brotherly gesture attended the wedding ceremony of a martyred Constable Shailendra Pratap Singh's sister on Monday. Last year, Constable Singh, posted with the 110th Battalion of CRPF, was slain during a terror assault in Pulwama.

As per a report by India Today, to honour the supreme sacrifice of the martyred soldier, his colleagues arrived at his sister Jyot's wedding ceremony at Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh.

The soldiers performed all the rituals which involves the role of brother. In the photos shared by CRPF on Twitter, the soldiers can be seen escorting Jyoti to her Mandap, and even clicking images with the family members and other relatives.

Taking to Twitter, CRPF writes, “Brothers for life: As elder brothers, CRPF personnel attended the wedding ceremony of Ct Shailendra Pratap Singh's sister. Ct Sahilendra Pratap Singh of 110 Bn #CRPF made supreme sacrifice on 05/10/20 while valiantly retaliating terrorist attack in Pulwama.”
