Bihar: Here's why Lalu's son Tej Pratap Yadav sought DIVORCE from wife Aishwarya Rai

The plea to file a divorce is one sided, which means Aishwarya hasn’t given her consent for the split.

New Delhi: Bihar’s former Chief Minister Lalu Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav, who recently tied knot with party MLA daughter Aishwarya Rai has now filed for a divorce in Bihar’s family court, only months after his wedding citing ‘compatibility issues’. The couple had tied the knot in May this year.  Reports say there was a running disagreement between the two in the last few months which precipitated into a mutually agreed split. As per sources, Tej Pratap has cited wife Aishwarya’s “cruel” behavior as a reason behind filing divorce in front of the court. He has further said that he has been deeply hurt because of his wife’s behavior hence he has decided on parting ways. He also said that he is getting “suffocated” and cannot live his life like this. The plea to file a divorce is one sided, which means Aishwarya hasn’t given her consent for the split. As per sources, the tensions began soon after their wedding, Tej Pratap had declared that he does not want his wife to enter politics but the circumstances changed after a month itself as there is a strong buzz that Aishwarya would contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election from Saran. There were reports of Rabri also not being in favour of Aishwarya joining the political ring. Making his intentions clear, the Bihar leader said there won't be any settlement to save his marriage as he's had enough. “The fight was out in the open and her parents, my younger brother were clearly aware of her behaviour. I had spoken regarding it to her parents but they didn’t make efforts to resolve. I have complete evidence of it and will present everything before the court. There are some people who tried to create a discord between me and my siblings. You have one life, what’s the point living it in such a suffocated manner. I want to make it clear that there’s no chance of reconciliation,” Tej Pratap told a media house in a telephonic conversation. The news has come as a shocker to RJD Chief Laly Yadav, who is currently in jail after being convicted in Fodder scam. Both the families are extremely stressed over the decision and immediately after the news came to light, the Rai family rushed to the Yadavs, in an attempt to resolve the ongoing feud.
