'Dear Kejriwal Ji...': Amit Shah's Response To Delhi CM's Demand Of Army Staff For Covid-19 Centre

Amit Shah gave a harsh response to Aam Aadmi Party supremo reminding him that he had issued instructions for deploying doctors from the ITBP three days back.

New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday invited the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to inspect the 10,000-bedded COVID-19 care centre at Radha Soami Satsang Beas campus in Chhattarpur. As reported by news agency ANI, CM in a letter written to Shah also requested for deployment of doctors and nurses from ITBP and Army at the Centres. "Dear Kejriwal ji, it has already been decided in our meeting 3 days back & MHA has assigned work of operating 10,000 bed COVID-19 Care Centre at Radha Swami Beas in Delhi to ITBP. Work is in full swing&large part of facility will be operational by June 26," Amit Shah said. "I would also like to inform people of Delhi that a 1,000 bed full-fledged hospital with 250 ICU beds is being developed for COVID-19 patients. DRDO and Tata Trust are building the facility. Armed forces personnel will man it. This Centre will be ready in next 10 days," Shah added in following the tweet. On this, Kejriwal soon wrote back a thank you note in Hindi to Union Home Minister for extending his cooperation at the rough hours of Coronavirus pandemic. Taking to his personal Twitter handle, Kejriwal said, "The country's military, doctors, social institutions, the central government and the Delhi government - all are working unitedly for Delhi. I am sure we will all together beat Coronavirus. Thank you for helping the Delhi government and the people of Delhi in these difficult circumstances." After the meeting, the Delhi government directed the District Magistrates that all daily reported positive cases of COVID-19 should be immediately verified within 24 hrs.
