'Aise 10 Doctors Khade Kar Sakti Hoon': Shiv Sena Corporator Misbehaves With Hospital Staff - Watch Viral Video

Shiv Sena corporator Sandhya Joshi apologised to the doctors of Mumbai's Bhagwati hospital after a video went viral where she was seen misbehaving with hospital staff.

Mumbai: A video went viral on social media where a Shiv Sena corporator and education committee chairman Sandhya Doshi is seen arguing with Hospital staff of civic-run Bhagwati Hospital. Doshi is claiming in the video that a staff member from the hospital misbehaved with a Covid-19 patient from her electoral ward.

Sandhya Doshi is seen threatening the staff and is heard saying in the video, “There was misbehaviour by the doctor with the patient, and hence I have come here. I can make 10 doctors like you stand here at the hospital.”

The Maharashtra corporator received a lot of flak for misbehaving with the hospital staff and in response to the viral video, a doctor of the same hospital released a video statement threatening to resign.

The doctor in the video can be heard speaking in Marathi saying, “We are working under constant stress and are daily seeing our colleagues falling ill to Covid-19. In all this, if someone expects us to pay attention to a particular patient, it will not be possible. We request whoever claims that they can get 10 doctors like us to get them. We will resign post this.”

People have been criticising Sandhya Doshi and some have even asked Shiv Sena for her resignation for disrespecting the medics who are working round the clock in this grim situation.

Sandhya Doshi later apologised for her ill behavior and said that her only intention was to get the patient admitted to the hospital.
