Owaisi Compares Situation Of Muslims In India Today To Jews During Hitler's Era, BJP Hits Back

The AIMIM chief said that it does not suit a Prime Minister to term all minorities 'infiltrators', to win the elections and this language suit the PM.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi drew parallels between the situation of Muslims in India today and that of the Jews in Germany during dictator Adolf Hitler's era. In an interview with ANI, Owaisi said, "The position of Muslims in today's India is the same as the situation which Jews witnessed or experienced during Hitler's era in the 1930s. The gas chamber was the last step, before that movies were made, hate speeches took place, there was a whole process to it."

The AIMIM chief said that it does not suit a Prime Minister to term all minorities "infiltrators", to win the elections and this language suit the PM.

"Our PM is saying that Mangalsutra will be removed from Hindu women and given to Muslims. 17 crore Muslims are being called infiltrators. Whether Modi ji will remain or not, the country will remain. The Total Fertility Rate (TFR) among Muslim women has fallen, this is the government's own data. To win an election you are calling all minorities as infiltrators. Hitler also used to say the same thing to Jews that they were not original Germans. Does this language suit the Prime Minister?" Owaisi said.

Owaisi also stated that he is ready to prove with suitable data that Muslims are the poorest in the country. He further asked that the PM Modi-led BJP has a fight with the Congress, so why do they bring Muslims in between. "Is Modi the Prime Minister of only Hindus? They have a fight with Congress, why are we (Muslims) being brought in between? PM should tell that Muslims are the poorest in this country. I am ready to prove this with data," he said.

Reacting to Owaisi’s  'Hitler Era' remark, BJP leader Mohsin Raza slammed him and said that he is the biggest Hitler in his area and he behaves like Hitler. Raza further stated that everyone says that he has encroached on the lands and properties of people.

BJP leader Mohsin Raza said, "He needs to assess his area. He is the biggest Hitler in his area. Everyone says that he has encroached on the lands and properties of people. He himself behaves like a Hitler. Under the leadership of PM Modi, the Muslim community is developing and getting benefits from the schemes... They (Congress) have only looted the Muslims... Only Asaduddin Owaisi is talking about the Hindu-Muslim issue. No other Muslim is talking about it."

PM Has Decided To Make His Communal Image In This Nation: Congress

On Owaisi's 'Hitler Era' remark, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said, "The communal statements that the PM is giving against Muslims, it can make anyone say such things. The PM has decided to make his communal image in this nation. Maybe he feels that he can only benefit through the communal image... However, international leaders and media are writing against him. Even USA President Joe Biden has criticised him. But BJP can stoop to any low to be in power."
