Ahead of International Yoga Day, PM Modi Tweets animated videos to promote yoga; Watch
The video follows three other similar yoga tutorials by Prime Minister Modi, which showed his animated self-performing yoga postures to inspire people into taking up the healthy practice, weeks before June International Yoga Day.
International Yoga Day: Ahead of the World Yoga Day on June 21, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared some short videos of the yoga asanas on his Tweeter account. Noting that the benefits of Yoga are immense, with the help of these videos Modi has urged the people to make yoga an integral part of their lives. "On 21st June, we will mark #YogaDay2019. I urge you all to make Yoga an integral part of your life and also inspire others to do the same," he tweeted on May 5 and shared an instructional videos of the Trikonasana or the triangle pose.
The video follows three other similar yoga tutorials by Prime Minister Modi, which showed his animated self-performing yoga postures to inspire people into taking up the healthy practice, weeks before June International Yoga Day.
Today, he took to Twitter and shared a new video explaining the benefits of practising Ardha Chakrasana or the Half Wheel posture. In a mustard t-shirt and brown track pants, PM Modi's animated version is seen standing on a rug inside a spacious room with wooden flooring, overlooking a green manicured lawn, as he demonstrates the stages of performing Ardha Chakrasana.On 21st June, we will mark #YogaDay2019.

In the lead-up to the 5th International Yoga Day, Modi tweeted a video of the Tadasana on May 6. A 3D-animated Modi in a blue T-shirt and yoga pants can be seen stretching into the position. “Doing Tadasana properly would enable you to practice many other Asanas with ease. While, the next day, Prime Minister shared another video with the caption, "वृक्षासन हमारे शरीर और मस्तिष्क के लिए कितना फायदेमंद है? आइए देखते हैं इस वीडियो में... #YogaDay2019, "writing about the various benefits of vrikshasana on the human body and mind.Doing Tadasana properly would enable you to practice many other Asanas with ease.

The Prime Minister is a yoga enthusiast who has led large groups on Yoga Day at different locations across the country by performing asanas to promote the ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice. The first International Yoga Day celebration was organised at Rajpath in New Delhi on June 21, 2015, in which representatives of 191 countries took part. In 2016, the main function was held in Chandigarh and in 2017 it was held in Lucknow. This year, the main event of International Yoga Day on June 21 will be held in Ranchi with PM Modi attending it, official sources said.
